Abstract:The grade of WO3, Sn and Bi in the tail from a Cu-Sn polymetallic is 0.088%, 0.082 and 0.54% respectively. Process mineralogy study point out that even though grade of value elements are low, the grain size of target minerals are coarse and degree of liberation of them are also every high. The densities of target minerals are also much different from gangue minerals. In this situation, it is possible to concentrate target minerals firstly, then to think about separation to achieve value products. Process mineralogy study focusing on concentrate product shows that: size of grains for target minerals is coarse, most of which is between 0.02mm-0.104mm. And also, liberation degree of all target minerals is more than 80%. In this situation, it should be easy for separation process. At last, a process that include gravity pre-concentration, Bi-S bulk flotation, Bi-S separation, WO3-Sn gravity concentration and flotation separation has been used, achieving Bi-concentration, WO3-concentratiion and Sn- Concentration.
