Abstract:According to the properties of mud ore in an oxided type vein tin ore dressing plant in Yunnan Province,In order to recovery of fine cassiterite by cassiterite flotation, research on process technology and reagent system has been carried out.When the slime contained 0.546% tin, 11.54% iron, 38.82% calcium oxide and - 10μm accounts for 40%, the closed-circuit test indexes of tin concentrate grade of 8.15% and operation recovery of 85.57% were obtained by process of two-stage desliming, cassiterite flotation, and the combined reagent system of GX-4 as efficient collector and p86 as auxiliary collector in cassiterite flotation.The small-scale test results were applied to industrial production, replaced the original gravity separation process, achieved the production indexes consistent with the small-scale test, created better economic benefits for enterprises, and provided reference for the recovery of fine cassiterite from similar ores.
