中文摘要: 自动矿物学方法和技术的出现和应用,是工艺矿物学研究领域所取得的最大成就。本文系统介绍了我国首个具有自主知识产权的自动矿物学新技术——工艺矿物学自动分析仪(BPMA)的基本原理,并探讨其应用前景。BPMA基于扫描电镜(SEM)和能谱仪(EDS),能够自动、快速、准确测定样品的矿物组成及含量、粒度、解离度、连生程度、元素赋存状态等各项工艺矿物学参数。该系统主要应用于矿物加工领域,特别适用于选厂选矿流程工艺矿物学参数的实时监测、流程波动原因查找、选矿流程缺陷诊断,在选矿流程设计与优化方面非常有用。此外,在“稀”、“伴”、“细”战略性关键金属矿物查找与赋存状态定量研究、矿石可利用性评价等方面也有很大优势。
Abstract:The automated mineralogy methods and techniques were one of the greatest achievements in process mineralogy. This paper presents the functional principle and applications used in the recently BGRIMM process mineralogy analyzer (BPMA) with version 1.0 BPMA software, which is the first automated mineralogy analyzing system in China, developed independently by the BGRIMM Technology Group (China). The BPMA is based on scanning electron microscopes (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometers (EDS), can be used to investigate the quantitative process mineralogical data such as mineral composition, mineral content, mineral liberation and interlocked relationship, particle (and grain) size, dissemination characteristics, occurrence state of elements, etc., quickly, accurately and automatically. This system was initially designed mainly for use in mineral processing to determine particle mineral liberation from representative samples of plant products (i.e. feeds, middlings, concentrates and tailings), and it was indeed useful for real-time monitoring of process mineralogical parameters in the processing plant which helped for process design and plant optimization. In addition, the system could also be used for the search for strategic critical metal minerals (e.g., REEs, Au, Ag, PGEs, etc.), with the characteristics of “thin”, “companion” and “fine”, and the study of occurrence state of these metal resources. Besides, the analysis of ores and associated gangue in drill cores and coarse-crushed samples from exploration projects and mines, using this automated mineralogy system, could helped to assess the potential of a deposit.
