Nonferrous Metals (Mineral Processing Section) (ISSN1671-9492,CN11-1840/TF) was first published in 1949 (changed to monthly in 2024). It is the only professional academic journal focusing on the field of nonferrous metal mineral processing sponsored by BGRIMM Technology Group and supervised by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association,the publisher is the Editorial Department of Nonferrous Metals (Mineral Processing Section).
1. Aims and Scope
Nonferrous Metals(Mineral Processing Section) reports the scientific research achievements and work trends in the field of non-ferrous metal mineral processing,exchanges scientific research experience in the field of non-ferrous metal mineral processing,serves the technology promotion and scientific research production in the field,promotes the improvement of the quality of the staff in the filed,and promotes the development and progress of the industry.With the rapid development of the new generation of information technology,high-end equipment manufacturing and other strategic emerging industries,the demand for strategic minerals in China will continue to maintain a high level. Under the realistic conditions of complex and difficult selection of resources,scientific and technological innovation in the field of mineral processing has more special significance for the development and utilization of mineral resources in China. In this context,Nonferrous Metals(Mineral Processing Section) will continue to report on the latest scientific and technological progress and practical experience sharing in mineral processing theory,technology,reagents,equipment and engineering around the development needs of green and intelligent industrial transformation,with a view to providing reference for scientific research and production practice in the field of mineral processing. It provides a platform for mineral processing experts,scholars and engineering technicians to exchange experience.

From 1992 to 2020, it has been included in the core journals of natural science in the General Catalogue of Chinese Core Journals. In 2024, T2 was included in the Catalogue of Classification and Optimization of High-quality Scientific and Technological Periodicals in the Field of Nonferrous Metals, which was established as a well-known and very important high-level authoritative journal in the world.Chinese Inorganic Analytical Chemistry has been included in more than 20 comprehensive or professional databases both domestically and internationally.

Nonferrous Metals(Mineral Processing Section) is a carrier of academic achievements and a platform for academic exchanges,as well as a window to promote the development of disciplines and train talents. Over the past 70 years,it has helped to enhance innovation leadership,academic organization,talent cohesion and scientific research service. Actively assist the organizers in holding academic exchanges and publishing conference albums.For example,the inaugural meeting of the third editorial committee (2024),China International Mineral Processing Conference (2023),the first to eighth sessions of the Eighth National Conference on Mineral Processing Equipment and Control Technology and the inaugural meeting of the Mining and Metallurgical Process Calculation and Simulation Committee of China Nonferrous Metals Society (2006-2022,Biennial),the 11th Annual Review Conference on Mineral Processing with the theme of Efficient Processing and Comprehensive Utilization of Mineral Resources (2016),and the 6th National Conference on Mineral Processing Equipment and Automation (2011).
Since 2019,author training courses have been held every year to help scientific and technological workers improve their writing level of scientific and technological papers and promote the growth of young talents. In order to serve scientific and technological innovation,we should focus on the world's scientific and technological frontiers,the major needs of the country and the people's lives and health. From 2021 to 2024,it published several special issues such as Mineral Processing of Rare Earth Metals,Automation,Intelligence,Simulation and Simulation of Mineral Processing, Efficient and Clean Utilization of Strategic Metal Resources,Separation of Micro-fine Refractory Minerals and the column Application of Quantum Chemistry and Computational Simulation Methods in Mineral Processing to promote academic exchanges.

Nonferrous Metals(Mineral Processing Section) focuses on major national strategies and the development direction of inorganic analytical chemistry,condenses scientific issues,improves the forward-looking and readability,inspiration and professionalism,novelty and practicality of the article and thus enhance the level of clustering,digital construction,and core competitiveness.
