Abstract:
A low-grade spodumene ore containing Li2O is only 0.97%, which is far lower than the average grade of the spodumene feed ore in the current industrial production. The mineral composition of the ore is complex, with more lithium-containing minerals and closely related inlay. The conversion effect is strong, and the highest Li2O content in spodumene which is the main recycled mineral is only 5.82%. Those above are limiting factors for the efficient use of the low-grade spodumene ore. In order to solve the above problems and provide a possible technical reference for the treatment of low-grade spodumene ore, this paper carried out detailed experimental research, using a new, efficient and selective lithium-containing mineral collector BK317 and activator TC. In the case of grinding fineness -0.074mm accounting for 75%, after 1 roughing, 3 cleanings and 1 scavenging, the middles return to the closed circuit process sequentially, finally obtaining a spodumene concentrate containing Li2O 4.46% and a recovery rate of 80.40%.
